Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Lower Leg

I returned home from the gym this morning and had pain in my lower right leg on the inside. This particular area has been giving me grief for about 6-8 weeks. I applied and ice pack but I could not feel the cold. What could cause this?? I am a 42-year-old female, approx 5 foot 4 and 140lbs. I have no medical history to mention.
