Suggest Treatment For Pain On Back Side Of Ear

I am having pain on back side of my left ear i.e on the head part, I had visited to doctor yesterday and he pescribed the medicines named FLUPEN 500 and Flexon. I am still having pain. Are those medicines to cure pain only? because the particular part is still getting big whenever i touch a little bit. Do you have any idea about it? what it is? Thanks in advance!!
