Suggest Treatment For Pain On Spine And Neck After Injury

Today I slipped walking down the stairs and fell hard on my butt. Pain instantly shot up my spine and to my neck. I've also had a dull headache since the incident. It happened several hours ago and I'm experiencing more soreness. Do you think I should get checked out for a fracture? I don't have insurance so I hate to go to the doctor unless absolutely necessary!
