Suggest Treatment For Painful Boil In Groin Area

I have a very horrible boil in the groin area that is very red and painful. First noticed it on sunday. I am keeping it clean and bought something at the pharmacy that is a drawing salve. I have had these before but this one is particularly painful and large. The boil is in my vaginal area just to the right. That whole area is grossly swollen. Is there anything else i should do.
