Suggest Treatment For Painful Hard Knot On Forefinger

I often get broken blood vessels in my fingers, usually from some extra pressure put on that area. (like grabbing a handle too hard. Sometimes they don t actually break but form a very sore hard like knot. They usually go away eventually. I have one of those on my forefinger just below the first knuckle from the tip. It is almost 1/4 inch in size and very painful, (enough to bother me at night). Is there anything I can do to help it go away???
