Suggest Treatment For Painful Hard Spot On Knee Caused By Injury

I fell hard directly on my right knee onto a road during a parade. I can walk without pain at all. I CAN NOT put any weight on the knee at all like kneeling down without wanting to scream bad words. I am a nurse so I just have ignored it for awhile, but it is not getting any better. Feels like a very hard spot under knee. What could this be? Should I see an ortho?
