Suggest Treatment For Painful Scar Tissue On Hand

I had hand surgery to repair my ulna radial nerve and tendon in my hand and now have a large scar that extends beyond the scar site. When I move my finger it is painful. The only way to describe it is that it feels like wires cutting through my hand. I am doing lots of hand therapy but the finger stiffens quickly. You can feel the wire like scars under my skin - what kind of treatment options - surgery or otherwise are available for situations like myself?
