Suggest Treatment For Painful Stomach And Bloating Due To IBS

Hey i have had stomach problems for a while now and was diagnosed with ibs but latley ive been trying to figure out what is tiggering it or if it could possibly be something else.So far i know that chocolate and brocolli cause me to have stomach pain on my left side and i get bloated and feels like there is trapped gas inside that just doesnt want to come out and i look like im nine months pregnant but am not.I was reading about chohns disease and was wondering if i had some of those symptoms and how to get tested for that.This is a big problem for me i feel it is interupting my happieness and i had talked to a dr about this and they told me to get a colonoscopy but i am to scared to do this is there any other testing they can do besides this first before a colonoscopy i have also had anal itching sometimes pain in rectum and i have also tryed a few times going without gluten to see if this would help but i feel the same and still bloatedand i also have had bad acne around my chin with cysts and was wondering if that had anything to do with my digestive problems please help thank you
