Suggest Treatment For Painful Swallowing Of Food

I swallowed a part of a potato chip that was'nt totaly chewed, it hurt going down and a few days later I developed a very painful throat and painful swallowing , along with chest pain with swallowing , like a lot of congestion also, a cough . Could the 2 be connected? I have no fever .
