Suggest Treatment For Painful Swelling Behind Ear Of Child

My seven year old bumped heads with my eleven year old but my seven year old has a large purple knot behind her left ear and it hurts pretty bad should I take her to the emergency room the doctors office is closed right now or should I jut keep an eye on it over night .
