Suggest Treatment For Painful Tender Spots On The Scalp

Hi. My name is Robin and I am a 24 year old African American graduate student. I have very painful tender spots on my scalp. There are also some painful pimples or bumps on my scalp as well. This has been going on for the past few months. I recently lost healthcare coverage so I cannot afford to go to a dermatologist right away. I was wondering if you could possibly identify what this condition may be and what are some treatment option. Thank you.
