Suggest Treatment For Paining Red Rashes In Dementia Patient

I am working with an elderly lady who has dementia. Every Spring she gets an allergic reaction to something...has a very itchy red rash which causes her a lot of pain. What can be causing it,and how to treat? Tried antihistamines,calamine,vagisil,in fact everything!
