Suggest Treatment For Patchy Red Glans And Inner Foreskin

My glans and inner foreskin are patchy and red, I also noticed it itches during masturbation. From what I ve seen I think it may be from smegma because I admit I havent really properly cleaned smegma and I also saw that I should wash it with salt water - is this a real fix? I m really worried because I don t want any problems further down the line when I want to have kids.
