Suggest Treatment For Pelvic Inflammatory Disease

Hello... I was just diagnosed with Pelivc Inflammatory Disease... I had little or no symptoms, and they administered several antibiotics via needle and also sent me home with them...I am newly married and generally come from a fertile family, but i am reading all these horror stories about infertility! I am devastated...my question is, is there any way to reverse the effects of this silent infection? My husband and I so desperately want children...HELP
