Suggest Treatment For Penile Thrush In A Diabetic

I am a 54 year old with Type 2 Diabetes. After various courses of antibiotics I have been told by my urologist that I have penile thrush. Previous thrush infection was in my throat, but it cleared. He recommended Daktacort ointment twice a day. Also told that my diabetes is a factor in my poor healing. Diabetes is well managed, HbA1c of 7.1. Any dietary advice, or supplements you would suggest to assist the speed and efficiency of the healing process
