Suggest Treatment For Perforation In Ear Having A History Of Retraction Of Ear Drum

I have history of retraction of my left ear drum. Experiencing increase in pain and ringing in the affected ear. Was at a nurse friend's home tonight. She looked with her otoscope and saw a perforation. I'm not sure how to proceed with treatment and what treatments I could expect.
