A month ago I had severe congestion and a head cold. I started to feel better, but the congestion never really went away. I went to see my doctor and she put me on antibiotics, telling me I had post-viral bronchitis. After I finished my prescription (which also included using a humidifier in my room while I sleep), I started feeling a little better again but the congestion was still there. For the past two weeks now, I have felt this constant congestion in my chest (slight wheezing, mucus, excessively stuffy nose), and it really has not disappeared altogether. Today, two days after I went out in the snow, I started feeling all the head cold symptoms I had a month ago when this all began. Now I feel like I am choking on my mucus, my head is thumping, I feel extremely fatigued, and my nose is still stuffed. Is this still bronchitis or is it something else? And is it normal to feel congested for an entire month?
