Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cough

I have had a cough and a head cold for 10 days now... I know that it has been going around here in the Dallas area and my daughter had it a few weeks ago ... mine does not seem to be going away and the cough is persistent ..... if i am drinking or sucking on a cough drop , I don t cough... what are the best over the counter medications to take for sinus pressure, mucous and cough
