Suggest Treatment For Persistent Hiccups Causing Discomfort Around Ribs And Headaches

My husband suffers from chronic asthma and diabetes, he also has heart failure. He has now been diagnosed with a stomach ulcer. He has been told that he has 2 blocked arteries and a leaking valve. He cannot be operated on as he won t survive the surgery, my question is this: He has the hiccups now for a week and doesn t want to go away. It is causing him discomfort around this ribs and giving him a headache, how does he get rid of them? He already is in so much pain. he can t take this on top of it.
