Suggest Treatment For Poor Concentration At Work

I have a dr. that I have been going to since I was little (I am now 30). He also happens to be a family friend. Recently I have been having a hard time focusing on anything for a period of time. My attention span has lowered to almost nothing. I did not want any kind of medication on my record due to my job. If on any medication I have to report it with the chance of not being able to do the job I love to do. Being a supervisor worried me. So my dr. gave me Adderall to try as a sample to see if it would work for me. I have to take a mouth swab and I was wondering if it would show up. I would ask him but he is not reachable due to vacation out of the country. I do not have a prescription and not able to reach him to write anything for me. On another note never taking it again makes me jittery which he did warn me could be a possibility said it would pass but I do not like the way it makes me feel.
