Suggest Treatment For Portal Vein Obstruction Apart From Blood Thinners

I have had PVT. in the last few weeks and have traveled extensively across the continent. After a procedure in California I am feeling better but still weak and slight pains. What should I be aware of outside of the normal blood thinners etc?
