Suggest Treatment For Prolapsed Rectum

Hi, my name is Louise and I am 71 yrs. old. I just had a visit with a urogynecology doctor today. My problem is that I have a prolapsed rectum for the past four or five years. After examining me and taking measurements she gave me 3 options: #1 an insertion of a pessarie which needs to be cleaned every 2 months
#2 would be the suturs to raise up the rectum
#3 closing of the vagina
I`m trying to fine out which way is the best way to go. My husband and I have decided not to have sexual
intercourse. I`m also leery about the mesh method that is being used. Can you shed some light on this. It would greatly be appreciated. Thank very much
