Suggest Treatment For Prolonged Bleeding And Clotting

i have been bleeding for the past 3 months and i have been noticing clotting how do i treat this...the last time i spoke to my doctor i was told if im still bleeding after 7 day we will have to use birth control pill will this work, in desparate need of help this is scary
