Suggest Treatment For Prolonged Periods Post Gastric Sleeve Surgery

I m not sure how much information you ll need, however I just turned 38, long LONG history of irregular periods.. either non existant or the come and won t go away. Recently underwent gastric sleeve surgery. At approx. 50 lb loss, I started and it won t stop. I asked the surgeon, he suggested I go to my regular doctor. I did. She prescribed medroxyprogesterone (which I have had to take before) but this time it didn t stop it. Every day that I took it I still bled. Now that I ve stopped taking it the period from hell begins. How long should I wait before I contact the doctor or someone again to figure out what s going on
