Suggest Treatment For Pus Filled Blisters On Foot

My husband has a red spot on his foot the size of a dollar coin, its oozing yellow tinted puss and looks to be swollen. We ve treated it like a fungus with a athletes foot cream and his Italian dermatologist gave him flubason 0,25%. its not getting better. Its not painful, its scabs over one day and re open the next. Not sure who we should see he doesn t have primary care doctoring the usa and not sure if we need a podiatrist or dermatologist. Thank you for your time, Ashley and Angelo
