Suggest Treatment For Radiating Pain On One Side Of Face

I have had a shooting type sensation on one side of my face for last week and have had a tingley sensation on the other side of my face on and off for awhile my doctor prescribed lyrica50 mg and return to him after two weeks if symptons persist i am not sure about these tablets as they have got some bad side effects from what I have read would you recommend these tablets
