Suggest Treatment For Raised And Sore Bump On The Scalp

I have a ised bump on my scalp and it is sore, but did bump my head or get hit in the head. What is could have cause that? An infection, maybe? FYI, I have thinning hair and bald spots which maybe from stress & color chemicals, etc because I am female. thanks
