Suggest Treatment For Rash On Shins

I saw the Dr about 2 weeks ago I had a patchy rash on my shins started as what looked like excema but got worse then the skin broke down. Dr said fungal infection looks like ringworm prescribed fluclox 500mg 4x daily and canesten HC it started to look better immediately but I finished the tablets a week ago and the cream 2 days ago and now it hasnt changed. do I just wait or do I need more cream/antibiotics?
