Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Cold Sores And Dry Skin

Hello doctor, I have had cold sores between 1-4 times a year since I was little. But now I seem to be having them once a month since October 2014 but last week I got two coldsores which are nearly going on my top lip but today my bottom lip is swollen with more coldsores building up. Its frustrating that Ive now got 3 coldsores within a space of this month. However a few months ago I had alot of uclers in my mouth, at one point I had 7 uclers all at once then a few weeks later I would have another two and so on. Now I seem to be having dry skin between my hands ( I have never suffered from dry skin before) today they are starting to give out a slight bad odor smell. I ve been told to go to the Doctors for a check up but I seem to think I will be wasting their time over a cold sore which I normally suffer for years. I was hoping if you could give me an idea to why I am suddenly having all these symptoms at once?. I would kindly appreciate it. Kind regards
