Suggest Treatment For Recurring Fever In Children

Hi, My son is suffering from fever from yesterday morning and i took him to doctor he suggested to give fevago ds and fever was reduced for sometime but recurred in night n temperature was 38.4 degree. Why its happening ? Is it common for 1.2yr baby it has happend for the 1st time. Pls suggest me how do i proced further
