Suggest Treatment For Recurring Typhoid Fever In A Child

Hello Dr. My 3 years old son diagnosed with Typhoid fever almost a months ago. Doctor prescribed him antibiotic CEFIXIME and he get recovered within a weak, after 15 days of normalcy, he gets back the symptoms of Typhoid fever. Doctor says that his typhoid fever test is reactive (+ve). now he suggests CEPROFLOXIN 100 mg for 3 days and than he will decide to give injection treatment. Kindly advise me that the reactive typhoid fever is dangerous for life or not and how we can get rid from this diseases. Thanks
