Suggest Treatment For Recurring Vaginal Discharge

Hi, I have had some vaginal discharge now for 3 months usually for a few days after my period it is fine then it gradually comes back worse and worse. It is thick white discharge, smells but does not itch at all. I tried the cannisten internal tablets but it did not clear up. Is this just thrush or another infection? what do you suggest i can get to treat it?
