Suggest Treatment For Red Itchy Lump On Hip

Hi I have had a red itchy lump on my hip that comes every 3-4 weeks since I came back from Ibiza for the weekend in September - can this be scabies? I also get itchy parts on back of leg since then too... I went to doctor yesterday and he said it was a fungal infection but later found out someone where I work had scabies before Christmas?
