Suggest Treatment For Red Mark On Forehead

Hi. I was getting pimples on my forehead. so like my mom had suggested, i took a cotton with undiluted dettol and put it on the part of my forehead and kept it for 40 minutes. when i took it out, i got this redish and brownish stain on my forehead. what should i do?
