Suggest Treatment For Red Spot On Tongue With Bleeding

I've noticed that about a month ago, that I have a red spot on the dorsal side of my tongue. It is toward the back, but anterior to my main group of taste buds, and slightly off center. It doesn't hurt, although there has been slight bleeding when I brush my tongue. It hasn't seemed to change form since I have noticed it. I'm wondering what it may be.
