Suggest Treatment For Reddish And Non Itchy Spots On The Body

I have non-itchy, pinkish/light red, circular spots on my shoulders and upper back. It started on one shoulder and I used triamcinolone acetonide ointment and it went away. Now, I'm seeing it on the other shoulder and on my upper back. What is this? How do I make it go away? And how do I prevent it in the future?
