Suggest Treatment For Redness And Bruising On Skin After A Bite

I have a large swollen bite on the inner part of my right leg next to the knee. It started out small with a puss blister that I popped. After it popped, the swelling increased. Now the red around the bite is about the width of a baseball and is starting to bruise. What do you suggest to remedy the bite?
