Suggest Treatment For Redness In Laryngitis And Change In Voice

I am 57 years old man. I was smoker and i AM A DIABETED and heart patient. PPI is implimantation on25th sep.2013. Now I observed suddenly my voice is slightly changed. I went to ENT doctor and he examine and told me that redness in my laryngities > He prescribed to take relpent - OD tablet once a day for three weeks. After taking these medicine if my voice will not cured he will go for androcopy. I want to know from you is it a serioud problem. AM I suffer for throat cancer. I am waiting for your reply and advise.
