Suggest Treatment For Redness On Head Of Penis With Dry And Peeling Skin

My partner's head of his penis is very red, almost like it's got a sunburn on it. The skin gets dry and starts peeling like a sunburn but the skin is dry rather than moist. He didn't have any issues before we had relations back in May so we're thinking he could be having a reaction to my body chemistry. Is this possible and if so what kind of treatment would he need to get in order to get better?
