Suggest Treatment For Respiratory Discomfort With Drip In Back Of Throat

My husband, 75 years old, had an illness during the holidays which he can not seem to get over. It was an upper restperatory illness and now it seems to be all in his throat. A drip in back of his throat and his voice is not normal. He does not have a fever.
