Suggest Treatment For Scar Tissue Development After Surgery For Ruptured Achilles Tendon

Would you recommend having a second operation on a foot that was operated on a year ago? I had a ruptured Achilles tendon...had Spurs removed....the tendon never attached to bone...scar tissue developed...doctor wants to go in to remove scar tissue????? Not sure I want to do this even though I have pain.
