Suggest Treatment For Scars On Face Due To Chemical Reaction

Hi, my husband have chemical plants, he has some minor scars on his face due to chemical reaction and drops fall on his face. Can you suggest me anything to remove these scars and can you suggest me any precaution to avoid this kind of scars, I mean what he can apply on his face and on his hands before starting work to avoid this kind of scars?
