Suggest Treatment For Schizophrenia

This question is for a mental health professional...my son has schizophrenia and as many with this disease do...he does not believe he has it. Professionals have said to not allow him to stay with you until he decides to take the meds. So he goes and stays with friends....any idea how to convince someone they need help and to see a doctor about this.....
