Suggest Treatment For Sciatica Type Pain In Back

I have been having sciatica type pain for a few days. It was all but gone as of Friday evening. My husband used Bactroban ointment on Saturday morning on the penis shaft. shortly after, we had intercourse. We considered a potential issue but since the doc said it was OK in the nose, we assumed it was ok. Today, I am having pain in my back around my kidneys, am urinating with normal frequency, color, odor... but quantity is lacking. Also having pain in the lower abdomen on both sides. Almost like period cramping. Could the Bactroban have caused a problem??
