Suggest Treatment For Scratchy Throat While On Macrobid For UTI

Hi. I m currently taking macrobid for a UTI. My daughter is home from school with strep throat. My throat is feeling kinda scratchy. Will the macrobid that I m taking cover me from getting strep, or should I go get my throat checked out before the weekend. I have 5 days left of macrobid to take. Thanks, Courtney
