Suggest Treatment For Severe Acid Reflux

Hi. I have been having a lot of acid reflux recently. I am on omeprazole 40mg 1xday. I used to take sucralfate 1GM also but haven t used it for a while. Can I start it again and can the tablets be cut in half or crushed. I have a Zenkers diverticulum, and some pills get caught.
