Suggest Treatment For Severe Back Pain After Falling

I fell 2 days ago and my back has hurt ever since , I saw a dr who thinks ive broken my ribs but after coughing in bed I couldn t move it hurt really bad do I need to go to hospital for checks or will I be ok till morning ? it felt like a snap in my back but was really painfull after this I cant lay back down in bed .
