Suggest Treatment For Severe Breast Pain

My left breast has been painful (especially in the morning when I wake up) on the side, almost down where it meets my chest (armpit side) for about 2 weeks. I don't really feel a mass. Had spine surgery on my neck 2 1/2 weeks ago. Don't know if maybe it is related to the healing of that or if I should check with OB/GYN.
