Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough Along With Shortness Of Breath

Hello, My grandson was diagnosed with asthema 5 years ago. He was on singular and zyrtec until his mother passed away. His father and step mom will not get his meds for him and thus he has had a spuratic caugh and wheezing and shortness of breath, along with chest tightness and pain. What should be done . I cannot force them to take him to the doctor
