Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough And Pain Under Left Ribs

I have gone to urgent care with a bad cough. Starting on the 21 of December. Then another consult on the 28 of december. I went back last Sunday. The antibiotics didn't help. had to get a rescue inhailr and steriods. Things seem somewhat better after that it's just been 2 days. I starting having pain under my left ribs under breast. am I expecting things to progress faster than they should or do I need to follow up with my primary care physician?
